Therapist
From as early as I can remember, I have always been the person people come to for advice or to be heard. This desire to help others felt instinctual. My earliest memory of wanting to turn this into a career was in high school, when a play therapist spoke on career day and I instantly fell in love with the idea. After earning my bachelor's degree in child and family studies, I found my way to clinical mental health counseling in graduate school. Being a therapist has been the perfect fit, and I cannot imagine doing anything else.
Who I Work With: In recent years, I have specialized in working with LGBTQIA+ adolescents and adults. As someone who identifies as part of this community, I understand the unique challenges these individuals face. I also work with individuals who struggle with unhealthy self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions.

Therapeutic Orientation: I am a cognitive behavioral therapist who uses affirmative CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and incorporates elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
What to Expect in Sessions: I am a direct therapist who compassionately and gently encourages my clients to confront their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors head-on. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can collaboratively work towards your goals.
When I’m not in the office, I’m a lover of my girlfriend, our two cats, and spending time with my best friends and family. You can find me collecting trivial things (like a true millennial), binging mindless TV shows, cheering on the Dallas Stars, and building Lego sets.
In My Clients' Words: Clients often say they feel extremely seen by me and immediately comfortable, even after just five minutes in the first session. They express thankfulness for my assertiveness and my sense of humor in sessions.

Therapy isn’t always easy. It takes courage, bravery, and vulnerability. Just by searching for a therapist and being on this website, you are showing that you have those qualities. I would love to speak with you to see if we could be a good fit.
Absolutely. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community myself, I bring both lived experience and professional training to create truly affirming therapy. Your identity isn't something to be "fixed"—it's something to be celebrated.
I use evidence-based cognitive behavioral techniques combined with acceptance-based strategies. We'll work together to understand your thought patterns, develop healthy coping skills, and create sustainable changes that improve your daily life.
I'm both! I believe in compassionate directness—I'll gently challenge you to face difficult thoughts and behaviors while providing unwavering support and understanding throughout the process.
The best way to find out is through a brief consultation call. We can discuss your goals, my approach, and see if my therapeutic style aligns with what you're looking for in your healing journey.
Your milestone is waiting. Let’s reach it together!
